have u asked in Jesus' name?

ya know, when Daddy wants to get a point across, he uses his word, Holy Spirit, and people. well, i'm believin', trustin', and resting in the knowledge of how much he wants to give us good things.

the impossible is possible when u walk in and by faith. i am letting God direct my steps so the plans he and i have made r made flesh in his perfect time. my prayer is still this: God's got this. let God's will be done in my life and my family's lives.

HOPE FOR TODAY
John 14:14 NIV
You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

THEY ASKED GOD FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE
When we have prayed, God opens the doors of opportunity, sends divine help, casts mountains into the sea, and floods our hearts with delight.

Until we have prayed, we are left to shadowbox ourselves to exhaustion. A prayerful life is a directed life. A prayerless Christian is crippled, deaf, and blind. Prayer is the main event. Miracles and victories are the fruit of prayer.

The great men and women of the Bible lacked much of what is required today for success. Most of them gained little by way of education. None of them ever attended a leadership seminar or strategic planning summit. Few of them possessed any political influence. Widespread popularity came only to a few Old Testament kings. Unfettered by degrees and methodologies, they turned their world upside down. They called upon the Lord. They prayed day and night. They asked God for the impossible. God answered with the incredible.

Every one of us can make the world a better place today. We can do it by praying. Prayer is more effective than any human endeavor.

Have you prayed today? Have you humbled yourself before God? Have you asked Him to do something great?

Joyce Meyer: PROMISES FOR EVERYDAY LIFE
Proverbs 16:9 NIV
In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.

Step Out and Find Out
People often ask me how to find their place in ministry. Some spend many years waiting to hear a voice or to receive supernatural direction. I tell them to step out and find out.

Early in my journey with God, I wanted to serve Him. I felt He had placed a call on my life but I didn't know exactly what to do, so I tried different opportunities that were available.

A lot of them didn't work out for me, but I kept trying different ones until I found an area that fit me. I finally came alive inside when I had an opportunity to share the Word with people. I found joy in teaching, and it was obvious I was good at it. I knew then that I had found my place in ministry.

Sometimes the only way to discover God's will is to practice what I call "stepping out and finding out." If you have prayed about a situation and don't seem to know what you should do, take a step of faith. Don't be afraid of making a mistake. Step out and God will guide you.

Prayer Starter: God, I trust You, and I know that You will direct my steps, so I'm not afraid to step out and find out what You have for me.
